In order to become the master code-cracker, you first have to know the rules
of the game. Playing Wordy is a thrill and quite a challenge. So have a seat, take
a deep breathe and grab a dictionary if you have to because time is running out!
Wordy is a game consisting of scrambled words that you must type in the correct
order to advance onto new levels. When the words become five letters or more, not
only are the words scrambled, but one letter is taken out of the clue and replaced
with a question mark. Each word allows you to use a “cheat” function that will provide
you with one letter in the word, given to you in a random location in the word to
help you solve the scramble, if there is more than one word then more than one “cheat”
will be shown on the screen. Each cheat costs two points.
You will begin on Level 1 of Wordy and will have 3 credits and 0 points when beginning
the game. The first level is a scrambled word made up of 3-5 letters. If you solve
the puzzle correctly, you will earn 10 points for each letter in the word. The points
available for each word can be seen below your current score in bold. For words
you are unable to solve, just click “submit” to see the answer. Choose the “play”
button to start on a new word.
Each player is allowed an infinite number of games, but each game has a time limit
of 10 minutes. If you are a master then this should be adequate, if not—play again.
If you are playing and have credits remaining, click the “hold” button to resume
your game later or to begin a new game.
You will have 30 days to play Wordy once it has been launched. The player with the
top score at the end of the week will receive the prize. For extra help cracking
codes, search Google.com for word scramble cheating programs and why not—some of
the top scorers do!
